Man has always had a penchant for paranormal stories; just thinking about the paranormal creates a mysterious, exciting, interesting feeling! It is something beyond our senses; therefore, 90 per cent of people have an insatiable hunger in reading about them and hearing stories related to them. All the stories in this book are based on the experiences shared with me by my relatives and friends. But I have changed the names and places to hide their identities. The names of some towns (only some towns) mentioned in this are fictitious names. The only exception to this is the story of "Nagamani". In this, I have mentioned the actual places where the incidents took place; in this story, I have only changed the name of my friend to mask his identity. Apart from this, the history of "Champawat" is based on our scriptures and fables; all the events in the story are true from beginning to end.To make each story interesting to read, I have added some spice, garnishing and seasoning to them; but the core of stories is true experience. In this book, there are experiences involving not only demons/spirits but also deities/divinities.Paranormal, as far as I'm concerned, is not limited to ghosts, devils, angels, or deities, but also includes experiences that are beyond the ken of normal understanding, perception or logic.I have written the story ‘Kanavaa Nanavaa’, from my own experience; For those of you who know me and my family, especially those who believe in the paranormal, when you read this, you may start wondering, "could this be true……….or Not?. There is also a possibility of not being able to decipher how much of it is true and how much is fiction. I have no intention of clarifying this. I think that this story will become more interesting and absorbing when you crack your skull wondering thus. I pray my friends, relatives, and those who know me and my family well, to forgive me for this.I hope that you will find this book a lively, interesting read. Thus,Sivadattan alias Rajagopalan
