This publication is a tribute to the dedication of doctors, psychiatrists, law enforcement officers, and, most importantly, the families and loved ones of those battling addiction. Drawing from years of hands-on experience working with addicts and their families, this workbook serves as a self-assessment guide to help individuals on their journey to recovery. By answering these questions with honesty, individuals can foster self-realization and embark on a spiritual path toward a life free from substance abuse. We extend our deepest gratitude to international fellowships such as Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, and others that provide invaluable support to millions worldwide. This book is not intended to replace their efforts but rather to complement them. Specifically designed for illiterate, language-challenged, and rural communities in India, it offers essential guidance to families affected by addiction and its long-term socio-psychological-economic impacts. Together, we strive to bridge the gap and bring hope to those who need it most.
