Common Gynecology Diseases: Modern Diagnostic Criteria and Ayurvedic Management is a practical gynecology book written primarily for chikitsaks and practitioners treating women’s health conditions. The book describes various common gynecological diseases and discusses their diagnostic features and treatment approaches. It also brings together a collection of anubhūt (experienced) and parīkṣit (tested) Ayurvedic formulations and traditional therapeutic practices that were used by earlier generations of Vaidyas but have gradually become less accessible or, in some cases, have been lost over time. The purpose of this work is to bring these traditional formulations and clinical approaches together in one place so that practitioners of Stree Roga Chikitsa (women’s health/gynaecology) can study them and consider their relevance in clinical practice. The book combines descriptions of gynecological disorders, modern diagnostic perspectives, Ayurvedic management approaches, and traditional therapeutic knowledge for the benefit of practitioners and their patients.
