Crafting Strong University Brands: A Consumer-Based Brand Equity Approach examines the growing importance of branding in higher education within a competitive, knowledge-driven economy. It highlights how institutions must build trust and perceived value despite the intangible nature of educational services. Focusing on Grant-in-aid universities in Gujarat, the study identifies key CBBE dimensions—brand awareness, brand image, and brand heritage—and validates their impact on brand equity. Divided into two studies, it explores their interrelationships and influence on perceived value. The findings offer a practical framework for policymakers and administrators to strengthen institutional branding, stakeholder engagement, and long-term competitiveness.
