The educational institutions were closed down right from Pre-Nursery through formal schooling and to higher education which led to disruption of academic schedules/plans at educational institutions. There was a sudden switch over from face-to-face physical class room to online digital teaching and learning, not only in India, but throughout the world. This posed a plethora of challenges for all the stakeholders i.e. the teachers, students, parents as well as the administrators. The growing concern of the teachers as also of the students was the transition over to online teaching, more so of the teachers who have to address to the diversified students. They had to enhance their teaching strategies, methodologies, and different type of skills in order to compete in online learning environment. The present book is based on research conducted which was designed to look deep into the problems and challenges faced by the School and Higher Education Teachers while shifting to online teaching.
