This book ‘Food Chain Models with Interval Uncertainty’ has been written with a view to meet the requirements of the researchers and post-graduate students in Universities as well as Research Institutes. The curriculum of mathematical biology such as food chain models has been expanded, updated, and modernized to a socio-economic extent. The present book is in response to dealing adequately with new course content. It has six chapters devoted solely to mathematical biology under interval uncertainty. Most of the food chain models are formulated in a precise environment and handled by a deterministic approach. In deterministic situation, it is always difficult to predict the future of the models accurately. To overcome these difficulties, we have tried to present a variety of food chain models in order to describe different sorts of ecological and economical phenomena under interval biological parameters. The characteristic feature of our book is to present ecological models including time delay models in interval environment. This representation is new and helpful to the researchers not only in mathematics but also in many other related subjects. We have included illustrated numerical examples to verify our theoretical results at the end of each chapter. Much labour has also been spent to illustrate the numerical findings with computer-assisted well-drawn and accurate diagrams. We also mentioned that the main content of each chapter of our book is published.
