My debut story collection, "Gaon Jaati Pagdandi," pays homage to my late father, who raised me single-handedly after my mother's early passing. Despite lacking the traditional storytelling sessions with grandparents, my father filled that void with his tales. Influenced by his nurturing, I crafted narratives rooted in rural life, drawing from personal experiences. Each of the twenty-five stories strives to bridge the gap between the mundane and the extraordinary, offering insights into societal dynamics. From the emotional depths of "Parityakta ka Sangharsh" to the delicate nuances of "Kanchan Katha," my stories explore human complexities with sensitivity. I highlight the struggle of urban dwellers torn between progress and tradition, as depicted in "Jab Shehnai Baji Phir Gaon Mein." Through tales like "Rooh ki Talaash" and "Wa Kalam Khaas," I delve into the erosion of moral compasses and the complexities of human relationships. "Chamki ki Barkhastagi" and "Leather ki Jacket" subtly unveil the human condition, while "Debubai ki Kamardhani" and "Raghuvar Babu ki Bitiya" provoke introspection on societal values.
