The son of a poor farmer, through his struggle, set new academic records and brought his village's name to Allahabad University. Then, through his intellect, despite difficult circumstances, he: 1. cleared the written exam for India's best administrative service, the IAS, once; 2. cleared the written exam for Uttar Pradesh's best administrative service five times; 3. qualified for the Sales Tax Officer exam three times; and numerous other competitive written exams, but failed the interview. He was selected for both the written exam and interview for India's Bank Note Press, Dewas, Madhya Pradesh. After qualifying for the written exam and interview for Madhya Pradesh's best MPPSC three times, he was subsequently selected for the written exam and interview. Subsequently, he defied all odds and was selected as a Class One scientist in ONGC, one of India's best Navratna companies. This, too, represents an outstanding achievement and the result of struggle for a poor farmer from a village like Ayana.
