The book is a collection of poems.The poems are pearls that have arises from the Goan sea.The sea of experiences from childhood to adulthood .The poems are on simple topics like the tapestry of Goa,the rivers,the Goan environment,the people reflecting the great change then and now due to urbanisation, tourism and migration of people.The sea and sand has changed its colours,the greenery fading,the land sliding and the culture fading.Yet somehow somewhere there is a cry a Triumph to protect it all.To preserve Goan culture,and traditions as much as possible.The Goan sea is not known to yield pearls.These pearls are treasures of memories of concentric laters of impressions made on the mind as the poet grew in the Goan land.There is a vivid picture of Goa in 1970s and Goa now .The poet appreciates the change that has occured for better or worse.Yet there is a worry in the mind will I get to see my Goa as it was before?Will The cool calm susegad lifestyle and serene beauty be retained atleast in some corner of Goa?
