“The world provides enough to fulfil every man's need but not greed.” In the era of the 21st century where industrialisation has reached its highest peak not only within the boundaries of a country but even globally, the world has witnessed remarkable growth in the corporate sector. As it is said, "all good things come at a price" and the cost for this is the deterioration of the environment. With highlights on international standards and protocols for environmental management, the business organisations are expected to adopt environmental strategies and programmes and explore green economic facets of business. Going green to the maximum extent is the only sustainable way ahead and Green HRM is in one of the forefronts. Greening the employees from top to bottom is not an easy task but the need for it has risen in this era. Despite being a sustainable as well as a profitable way of functioning we have found the usage of this concept way below average which led to the core of this research. Quantitative research was conducted where 200 employees of the selected area of Siliguri-734001 was taken as a sample from three different sectors that is the manufacturing, trading and digital sector to analyse their knowledge and usage of green HRM practices in their working. The main aim is to make a descriptive analysis of the different processes of Human Resources in integration with the environmental management.
