Dr. Bhupinder Singh Mattu's book, ‘ITHAAS VICH MAZHABI SIKHAN DI JADOH JEHAD’ explains the struggle and contribution of Mazhabi Sikhs during the Guru period, Banda Bahadur period, Misal period, Ranjit Singh period, and British Period. He tells the stories of those Mazhabi Sikhs who helped to build the Sikh empire and also participated in the Sikh Gurdwara reform movement. He discusses the Mazhabi Sikhs who served in the British and Indian Armies and received rewards and awards. He mentions the role of Mazhabi Sikhs in S.G.P.C., Akali Dal, Namdhari sect, and other organizations. Furthermore, he explains the conversions of Mazhabi Sikhs and Dalits by Christians, Hindus, and Sikhs in the British Period. In the last chapter of the book, he introduces important personalities and organizations of the present period.
