Food has the power to connect different worlds, different generations and different cultures. My travel to different parts of the world have taught me a lot, and more often than not, the dishes I serve all have a story within. As a chef, it is important for me to create a story on the plate and so I'm constantly seeking tales to tell. The beauty of good food book is that one always discovers a new way to handle familiar ingredients. No matter how well you know a place or a community there will always be someone who makes a dish differently in their kitchen, and has a unique style of narrating their stories.
