The literal meaning of Moksha is liberation from this vicious cycle of life and death. Moksha means, our soul dissolving into the Cosmic Energy, wherein, we are never born again in any physical form. It signifies the ultimate goal of spiritual practice, where one attains freedom from suffering and the endless cycle of reincarnation. Everything is within you, there is no such outer force which will take you to the Moksha, your soul (instinct) will take you there. Bhagavad Gita says, Abandon all varieties of dharmas and simply surrender unto me alone. I shall liberate you from all sinful reactions; do not fear. 'Moksha' means freedom from all earthly bonds and desires. Our entire life is spent in the pursuit of wealth and Fame. But at one point in time you will come to the realization that your time on this Earth is limited. All that you have struggled for: Fame, wealth and loved ones will be left behind when you start your final journey.
