In the sacred silence of a dream, I beheld a form unknown to the world—a divine goddess with eight radiant faces, each beaming with a different aspect of grace. What followed was a personal vision and the awakening of an ancient energy: Ashtamukha Lakshmi. This book is a humble record of her darshan, my devotion, and the revival of her forgotten worship. This book is not merely a personal account — it is a divine call. A call to those who have felt the presence of something ancient, sacred, and luminous that surpasses everyday understanding. The vision of Ashtamukha Lakshmi came not through scholarly study or tradition but by divine will, revealed in a dream during prayer, when I surrendered myself entirely to the Divine Mother and asked, “Show me Your truth.” What followed changed my life forever: the image of a goddess with eight radiant faces, each expressing a unique aspect of grace, abundance, wisdom, and protection. I had never heard of such a form, yet I believed what I saw. Guided by devotion, I worked with a divine artist, and this form was brought into the world as a sacred idol at Swamimalai—a place renowned for the divine Murugan and the ancient Siddha energy that surrounds it. Later research confirmed that Kanva Maharshi once worshipped this rare form of Lakshmi, although her worship had faded over time.
