Pravaah ko Disha Do contains thirteen essays in three parts. Part One is devoted to Global problems, containing six essays, three on different aspects of globalization including the rise of nationalism as a force of resistance to it and an essay which may bethe key to deal with all the ills of unfettered consumerism, industrialization, and scientific advancement in the light of ancient Indian wisdom. Two other essays in this section consider the religious conflict, and reincarnation and science today. Part Two contains four essays of particular relevance to India : Democracy and Ethics, meaning ofSecularism in India, meaning of Development, and How Hindi’s potential to attract the world can be realized. Part Three deals with the poetry of three outstanding Indian poets – Jigar Moradabadi, Nida Fazli and Rahim – in search of their relevance to times.
