Kothari Commission 1964-66 stated in his report that ‘The Destiny of India is being shaped in her Classroom’. So, it may safely be added that the destiny of these classroom is being shaped in the institution of education with committed teachers. Progressively, these teachers can be prepared in good teaches training institutions with good teacher educators. In the current perspective the teachers education institutions and teacher educators is facing many problems. The eradication of these problems depends on professional development of teacher educators. A professionally developed teacher educator can prepare a professionally skilled teacher; they may boost the atmosphere of teaching-learning in the schools.
