The "Qawareer Maksurah" (Broken Glasses) is a collection of Arabic short stories written by the aspiring Indian writer Md Meraj Alam over the course of two years. It consists of fourteen short stories selected from among the stories he has written at different times and on different occasions. These short stories deal with various social and cultural issues that represent an aspect of the decline of human values in Indian society. This is because Meraj drew the material for his stories from the real life of Indian society. The writer placed the reader in the middle of the social classes in his country, through which allows the reader to learn about human rights and their impact on Indian society, and exposes the injustice that falls on each tribe based on skin colour or social status. These are cases of panic caused by social myth.
