Raja Bhoj was a king of the Parmar or Panwar Gor vansh dynasty. The Parmar kings ruled from the eighth century to the first half of the fourteenth century in the Malwa region of Madhya Pradesh state of India. The most illustrious Gor vansh king in the Parmar was Maharaj Bhojdev , the ruler of the eleventh century. He fought with many rulers like Chalukya, Kalachuri, Silhara, Rashtrakuta - Rathod, etc.on the battlefield and expanded his kingdom Malwa. Apart from this, he also wrote about 83 epics on many subjects in Prakrit and Sanskrit languages and other ancient scripts through copper manuscripts, on which research is going on in the country and abroad. Through this book Raja Bhoj “Parmaro ki Gor vanshiya Virasat”, we depicted the life story of Malwa Chakravarti Bhojdev Parmar who is well known as a benevolent king, a patron of arts and culture and also a renowned warrior. Along with this, in this book, we have described the Parmar descendants of Raja Bhoj, Bhai Mani Singh Pawar Binjrawat, Bhai Lakhi Shah Banjara and other great Gor warriors who conserved their ancestral knowledge of water conservation, architecture and war skills, despite being away from their ancestors.
