Bhaja Govindam, Bhaja Govindam, Govindam Bhaja poorna mate. This is how Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba addressed the vast congregage who assembled to listen to his sweet song, sung in his own divine golden voice. By this, he meant that the name of the glory of God should be extolled, derived pleasure from, till it satiated us until we reached divine consummation. We must be intoxicated with God bliss and not be perverted.Samsara is a Roga, a disease but not to one who is aware of his inherent divinity. Otherwise, the lake of Samsara, which is infested with crocodiles and other poisonous amphibians/ reptiles will always bite you and by their fangs of poison drag you into un- pleasant, un- enjoyable plights or conditions. Our having taken birth is to achieve God- realisation. Once we accept God as the Dictator, The Governor and The Supreme Controller and follow his command, our life will find a suitable directive and living life to the maximum potential we will walk into the arms of God there to know rare peace and unique rest. It is this celestial kingdom of blissful nature that is there, waiting for us, those of us who do no wrong but follow His rules. God reminds us time and again that we should practice morals, learn from scriptures and study, to love life, seeing it as a sweet boon or blessing, fight challenges and at the very last, seek solace in his Lotus Feet, be absolved and free. Taint and misery are to conquered thus. Let us make the journey not arduous or heavy that is un- miserable and sorrow- lid but easy and making of hope, joy and pleasantries by following it through small steps as per Divine guidance. The poems are an exaggeration of life what and how it means to common man, all man being common before God. Morals, moods and sentiments find their way into the book.
