Copyright Registration
A Copyright safeguards the author and his content against possible infringement of ownership.
Removing the threat of piracy, we provide our authors with a Copyright from the Copyrights Office, Govt. of India, which protects them and their work from possible imitation.
The author will be issued a copyright certificate after authorized verification form Govt. and the duration for getting a copyright registration in India is about 3 – 4 months.
The copyright application is filed about the time the book is in print and all documents are mailed to the author for them to sign and send it across to the copyright department.
Note: BlueRose takes the responsibility of filing the application online and sends two copies along with the application to the copyright department, New Delhi. In case of any discrepancy in the issuance of the final certificate, the author may be required to contact the copyright department on their own.
ISBN & Barcode
ISBN is International Standard Book Number and is a unique government verified number which ensures exclusivity of the entity for which it is obtained.
It creates work’s authentic identification ensuring its exclusivity and protects it from fraud. It is a thirteen-digit exclusive number allotted to a title by the authorized agency. In India, the ISBN is allotted to a book by the govt. agency and can be applied either individually or through a registered publishing house.
Changes in certain specifications like edition, format, etc, may require a fresh ISBN allotment. We, at Blue Rose, get ISBN through the authorized agency and at times buy it from our international partners.
Each format should be published with a separate ISBN. Paperback, hardbound and eBook format of the same book will have different ISBNs.
Note: ISBN is allotted by the government of India and usually takes about 3-5 working days. BlueRose is not responsible in case of any unanticipated delays.
Revision
If you would like to make revisions to the published book whether in the cover design or the interior file, we can certainly accommodate this. However, please note that it will involve additional charges.
