Writing & Editing
Typing
Typing is the process of converting handwritten or printed manuscripts into digital text. Our team ensures accurate, well-formatted typing to prepare your work for editing, design, and publishing.
Copyediting
In this the spelling mistakes, grammatical errors, punctuation and capitalizations are rectified. The spacing between words is also inspected.
1-layer of copy-editing: 1 editor will go through the entire manuscript and will rectify the grammatical errors. This ensures 80-85% accuracy.
2-layers of copy-editing: Editing will be done twice by 2 different editors. This ensures 90-95% accuracy.
Substantive Editing
In substantive editing, the editor considers the manuscript’s concept and intended use, organization, design, and style. The purpose is to enhance and enrich the content, not just to make it correct and consistent.
Note: The editor, being a human is also bound to miss out on a few errors. Though our experts cross check the entire manuscript after editing, for any repeated errors, we still cannot guarantee to fix all flaws in the script. Author is expected to go through the complete file at least once, before giving the approval for the next step.
Ghostwriting
Ghostwriting is creating professional content on behalf of an author, ensuring their ideas and story come alive in their voice. We help you publish seamlessly while maintaining complete confidentiality.
Client Policies
1. Initial Submission
- Every project requires formal input from the client. This could include a written brief, concept note, or manuscript draft.
- The input serves as the foundation for initiating the project, enabling us to align our approach with the author’s vision.
- All the input must be submitted in one go; submitting them in parts and pieces might hinder the writing process.
2. Feedback Timeline
- Timely feedback is crucial to maintaining the flow of the project. Authors are required to review and respond to drafts within 2-3 working days after receiving them.
- Delayed responses may result in bottlenecks, pushing back timelines and affecting the overall project schedule.
3. Finalization of Layout
- The layout phase is critical to structuring the manuscript, and once it is approved, no major changes can be accommodated.
- Authors should thoroughly review and suggest changes during this phase to avoid later disruptions.
- Minor edits after layout approval can be implemented by directly commenting on the live (Google) document.
4. Project Timeline Management
- Regular communication and feedback are essential. If no feedback or updates are received within 14 Working Days of initiation, the project will be placed on hold.
- Prolonged inactivity may result in: unavailability of the initially assigned ghostwriter; additional charges to reassign resources and realign the project.
- If the author fails to respond within the stipulated timeline, the last version of the content will be deemed approved.
- Kindly note that the ghostwriting projects are not eligible for expedited processing.
5. Payment Policy
- Payments must be made in advance as per the agreed terms.
- The payment structure is based on the estimated word count. Any variations (increase or decrease) in word count will be communicated in advance, and adjustments will be reflected in the billing.
